a new year, a new habit: trust your guts
twenty fifteen will be so full of so many things.
it's the time to resolve to being a 'new' you, being a 'different you,' being a 'better' you...you know, all of those things that sound pretty radical, pretty inspiring, pretty great. they are all of those things, our resolutions. they are well-intentioned commitments to living a more fulfilling life, yet so often, these resolutions we say we are so committed to slowly fade away. the commitment to being happier, more fulfilled, living more powerfully dissolve too quickly after the first of the year. what would change that?
what if you trusted that those commitments you make, the ideas you have, the goals you want to achieve could all happen if you just went for it? if you actually just committed to them, no holds-barred, pure dedication to what you keep telling yourself is a priority.
how about we get a little bit uncomfortable? or better yet, completely uncomfortable so we get to where we want to be and lived the life we want to live? how would it feel to trust the process, the pain, the hard work, the ebb and flow.
a few months ago, i wrote about changing up your habits.
you will never change your life if you don't dare to change the things you can change, say 'no' to the things you don't want to or can't do and say 'yes' to the things that bring you more light. and trust that little thing called intuition...otherwise known as your gut.
my twenty fifteen is all about trusting my guts. i spent a lot of 2014 hesitating, so i'm spending all of 2015 creating the habit of trusting my guts, because damn it, they speak the truth most of the time.
i'm trusting that this new habit will lead to the best year yet.
i. can. feel. it.
